You do need to take care of yourself and pace yourself. Good to know that Kurt "got it" and tried to help as much as he could. Obviously if you are exhausted enough to cry; it was a very long day for you. Hope you got your energy back while the house was quiet and won't have to be the sitter again..... it was very kind and thoughtful of you to take the child because your friend was in need but I do think asking you to keep the child overnight was a bit much…however, since he and Grace both fell asleep; I guess it all worked out. Try having 9 of them running all over then trying to get them all to take their naps at once. That was how my days went for the past 10 months. Now we are down to just 8...I usually have 6 of them left in the afternoons. They started off last August at anywhere from 16 to 23 months so they are all 2 now and we have 1 new boy (The lead teacher's son) who will be 2 in October. Two of the more advanced kids moved on to the two year old class already and the rest move up in August when the new school year starts. Some days I am ready to pull my hair out. But the hugs, kisses, and "I wuv you Miss Neese"'s that I get each day make it all worthwhile! I just wish I could bottle their energy! Ahhh Tods are such fun.
